Actalent is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to create and release formal SolidWorks drawings for complex electro-mechanical systems derived from prototypes and sketches. You will lead drafting activities and perform static and dynamic analyses to validate performance and manufacturability for a defense program.

The role requires a Bachelor in engineering with about 6 years of mechanical experience, 3-5+ years CAD design, GD&T proficiency, and US citizenship eligibility for defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; approximately 6 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on CAD design.
• Proficient in GD&T.
• Eligible for U.S. citizenship to work on defense-related programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and release formal engineering drawings for mechanical and electromechanical systems using SolidWorks based on prototypes and sketches.
• Lead drafting efforts and perform static and dynamic design analysis to validate performance and manufacturability for a defense program.
