Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – Skid / Integrated Solutions to design and develop integrated, skid-mounted equipment and power distribution solutions.

This senior role requires hands-on design leadership. You will lead mechanical layout, integration with electrical gear, and ensure manufacturability, safety, and field installability. Collaboration with Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management is essential to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering/design in engineered-to-order manufacturing or complex industrial equipment.
• Experience designing skid-mounted equipment, packaged systems, or integrated equipment solutions.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or equivalent; strong GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to work across Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of skid-mounted and integrated equipment solutions from concept through manufacturing and final installation.
• Develop complete mechanical layouts, assemblies, structural frames, equipment supports, enclosures, mounting arrangements, and components.
• Integrate electrical equipment, switchgear, switchboards, transformers, controls, and other system components into skid-mounted assemblies.
• Develop and review 3D models, drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform mechanical design calculations and evaluate structural integrity, loading, clearances, weight distribution, lifting and transport requirements.
• Ensure designs consider manufacturability, serviceability, safety, transportation, and field installation.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers for proper mechanical-electrical integration.
• Partner with Manufacturing to resolve design issues and improve manufacturability.
• Provide technical guidance and support through fabrication, assembly, testing, and installation.
• Review customer specs and project docs; participate in design reviews and risk assessment.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for components and fabrication.
