Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in the semiconductor domain.
• CREO CAD experience with at least 1 year.
• Experience with a PLM system.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for ion implanter subsystems: process chamber modules, beamline structures, wafer handling, vacuum chambers.
• Own end-to-end development: design reviews, robust mechanical fundamentals including design calculations, DfX, GD&T, tolerance stacks.
• Perform detailed CAD work, drawings, and BOM management using CREO, AutoCAD, Windchill, Glovia.
• Develop precision motion mechanisms and complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Perform FEA/CFD (thermal, structural, modal) and validate via prototyping.
• Drive DFM/DFX, manufacturability improvements, reliability growth, cost reduction.
• Define test requirements, coordinate execution, and document engineering test plans/reports for tooling and mechanical systems.
• Prepare, review, and approve detailed engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: systems, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and field service.
• Ensure SEMI S2/S8 compliance and internal safety standards.
