Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer (PE) to head a 6–7 person team designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings. The role requires strong leadership, client relations, and proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD. Hybrid work: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, located in Boise, Denver, or Sacramento. Experience with low-rise commercial projects and mentoring junior engineers will be valued.

Qualifications

PE license is required.
Strong commercial mechanical engineering experience; low-rise buildings preferred.
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Leadership experience or readiness to advance into management.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop mechanical engineering staff.
Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings (air handlers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors).
Utilize Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Oversee commercial projects across retail, offices, higher education, and aviation.
Improve design efficiencies, control costs, and identify business opportunities.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
