EVONA is seeking a hands-on mechanical/product engineer to lead the design and integration of compact optical, mechanical, and electronic hardware from prototype through production. You will own tolerance, robustness, production readiness, and repeatable manufacturing processes, coordinating with suppliers and supporting qualification and EMC/EMI compliance.

The role requires experience shipping hardware and moving prototypes toward volume production, with strong multidisciplinary engineering,

• Hands-on mechanical or product engineer with hardware shipping experience.
• Experience moving prototypes toward volume production.
• Strong tolerance analysis and DFM/ DFA skills.
• Ability to satisfy U.S. export-control requirements.

Lead the design and integration of compact optical, mechanical, and electronic hardware from prototype through production, balancing performance, size, weight, power, cost, and manufacturability. Own tolerance and robustness engineering, production readiness, repeatable manufacturing processes, supplier coordination, and support for qualification and EMC/EMI compliance.

Requirements

The role calls for a hands-on mechanical or product engineer with experience shipping hardware and moving prototypes toward volume production, supported by strong multidisciplinary engineering, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA skills. Experience in optical or other compact, high-performance hardware is advantageous, and candidates must be able to satisfy relevant U.S. export-control requirements.
