Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a senior mechanical design engineer to lead a small team in creating and maintaining custom machinery and equipment that meet client needs.

You will use SolidWorks CAD to develop 3D models, BOMs and quotes, oversee project costs versus budget, and manage upgrades and reverse engineering changes across all design phases, including installation, warranty and technical support.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in fabrication, hydraulic, pneumatic, and light industrial electrical design.
• Proficient with SolidWorks CAD; able to create 3D models and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-person engineering team to create and maintain custom mechanical machinery and equipment design to meet customer needs.
• Support all design phases including installation, warranty, and technical assistance with clients.
• Create 3D models, BOMs, and quotes for custom equipment concepts using SolidWorks.
• Monitor project costs versus budget and track execution against timeline milestones.
• Manage all mechanical upgrades and reverse engineering changes.

Job Description

• Responsible for leading 3 in the engineering team to create and maintain custom mechanical machinery and equipment design to meet customer needs
• Will support all phases of the design including installation, warranty, and technical assistance with clients
