Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer (MBD) in Windsor, CT who will manage the design and development of mechanical systems to meet customer requirements. You will create 3D models using Siemens NX and apply model-based definition to support prototyping and validation.

The role requires 6–9 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in CAD tools (NX preferred) such as AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6-9 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX (preferred) and/or AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Pay Range

$80000 - $95000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Windsor, CT and can be considered hybrid after the initial onboarding period.

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
