Job summary

You will mentor engineers, perform FEA and GD&T-driven validations, and drive drawings, assemblies, and documentation. This role collaborates with manufacturing to ensure robust, reliable machine designs.

Qualifications

• Outline: 5+ years in custom machine design and automation systems.
• Leadership/mentoring experience in engineering teams.
• Strong FEA/structural analysis capability.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design engineering activities for custom automation equipment.
• Design and develop complex mechanical systems with robotics, servo motion, machine vision, and automation.
• Provide engineering leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to design teams.
• Perform structural analysis, FEA, and design validations.
• Create and review detailed drawings, assemblies, and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on assembly, testing, and improvements.
• Manage CAD design processes using SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, AutoCAD.
• Support continuous improvement for machine design, reliability, and performance.
