Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation, a subsidiary of Daifuku North America, seeks a Mechanical Design/CAD Supervisor to lead a team of engineers in delivering mechanical drawings and equipment designs. You will oversee resources, schedules and budgets while maintaining CAD standards and data management.

The role requires a BS degree in mechanical fields or equivalent experience, 5+ years in lead design and estimating of industrial equipment, and strong communication with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent technical degree or related work experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading design and estimating industrial equipment projects.
• Experience supervising multiple projects with strong customer/supplier communication.
• Proficiency with Autodesk CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit) and Vault.

Responsibilities

• Lead a core group of mechanical engineers to produce drawings and designs.
• Manage resources, schedule, budget and deliverables for multiple projects.
• Maintain CAD database, revision control and design automation routines.
• Develop standard drawings, tools and procedures for the department.
• Collaborate with peers across departments, shops and vendors to meet specs.
