Job summary

Thomson Power Systems in Arlington, TX is seeking a Lead Mechanical Assembler to provide technical leadership for mechanical assembly operations and coach the team to meet engineering specs and production schedules.

You will interpret drawings and BOMs, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement while developing the skills of less experienced assemblers. This is a fully onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for mechanical assembly operations.
• Coach and train assemblers to standard work and best practices.
• Support daily production goals and coordinate workflow in the area.
• Lead problem-solving activities to improve quality and throughput.
• Promote continuous improvement and standardized work.
