Job summary

You will read assembly drawings, use precision measuring tools, and work with minimal supervision to ensure sub-assemblies meet specifications.

Responsibilities include planning procedures, guiding helpers, and occasionally wiring or basic electronics tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and alignment, and reading complex drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments required.
• Previous manufacturing assembly experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect complex machinery per drawings and specs.
• Inspect sub-assemblies to meet tolerances.
• Instruct and supervise lower classification workers.
• Test sub-assemblies and perform quality checks.
