Job summary

Staffmark Group in City Of Industry, CA is seeking a Lead Mechanical Assembler to lead daily production, organize workflows, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet quality standards and on-time customer orders.

You will train and mentor team members, troubleshoot assembly and process issues with engineering, and uphold a safe, collaborative work environment in our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly using detailed work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Lead daily production activities by organizing workflows, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
  • Serve as a technical resource for assemblers by answering questions and providing guidance.
  • Identify, communicate, and document process deviations or production concerns.
  • Help maintain production schedules and support on-time completion of customer orders.
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members on assembly processes, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct quality checks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly and process issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, changes, and production feedback.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday
