Job summary

AQUALIS in Edmonds, WA seeks a Lead Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems across trucks, vacuum units, and generators. You will act as lead, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and reliability of equipment.

Qualifications include a CDL Class A or B, four years journey-level experience, and the ability to read schematics. The role offers full-time employment with strong benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years journey-level mechanic experience in commercial/industrial/facilities ops.
• Shop foreman experience preferred.
• Ase certification (T2–T8) desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance on cars, trucks, trailers, vac trucks, and generators.
• Work on industrial vacuum equipment, PTO-driven movers, mowers and small engines.
• Weld on small items and perform minor fabrication as needed.
• Respond to routine and emergency repair calls; on-site service.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; interpret schematics.
• Maintain detailed maintenance/repair records for trucks/equipment.
• Manage shop inventory and vendor relationships.
