Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles, equipment, and machines at hubs, gateways, or terminal warehouses. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring operational readiness of on-board systems.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of related experience, a technical certification or an associate degree, and the ability to lift heavy loads as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50–70 lbs consistently for the duration of the shift.
• Technical certification or Associate degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years industry experience.
• Generally 4+ years of experience in related area of responsibility.
• Comprehensive knowledge in technical or specialty area and/or tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Performs vehicle repairs by disassembling and overhauling components.
• Replaces worn or broken parts and tunes engines.
• Conducts routine inspections to prevent breakdowns of machinery.
• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
