Job summary

Global Medical Response in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Ground Maintenance Technician for a full-time role. The starting wage is $19.00–$28.00 per hour (or salary equivalent), reflecting the responsibilities to maintain and service our fleet across multiple locations within AMR.

Responsibilities include performing mechanical and electrical repairs, responding to vehicle breakdowns, assisting other mechanics, and ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
• 2 consecutive satisfactory yearly performance appraisals.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical and electrical repairs as per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Assists other Mechanics as needed.
• Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
• Completes all required paperwork neatly, correctly and on time.
• Uses maintenance data base to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
• Attend all mandatory Fleet training.
• Performs all other duties as requested by Shop foreman or shop lead mechanic.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

We’re hiring aGround Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
