The ideal candidate has 8+ years in automotive repair, lead experience, ASE certification preferred, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop software to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
• Proven experience in a lead or senior technician role.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and shop management software.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicle systems.
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Lead and mentor shop technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors and customers.
• Oversee and prioritize repair orders to maintain smooth shop workflow.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop procedures.
• Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
