BNC Autocare in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a skilled Lead Mechanic to join our team and oversee vehicle diagnostics and repairs for a variety of makes. You will mentor technicians, manage workflow, and ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in automotive repair, lead experience, ASE certification preferred, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop software to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
Proven experience in a lead or senior technician role.
Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and shop management software.
Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicle systems.
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
Lead and mentor shop technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and efficiency.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors and customers.
Oversee and prioritize repair orders to maintain smooth shop workflow.
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop procedures.
Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
