Job summary

Arcfield in Lexington Park, MD is seeking an experienced Model Based Systems Engineer to support naval aviation and weapons integration programs at Patuxent River NAS. The role spans requirements development, analysis, system integration, airworthiness, test and evaluation, and risk assessment.

The successful candidate will lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver technical leadership across system design, sustainment, safety, and acquisition activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MS or PhD preferred.
Experience with MBSE tools: NoMagic, MagicDraw, Cameo, IBM Rhapsody.

Responsibilities

Perform complex engineering tasks independently and lead technical teams.
Develop requirements, integration plans, and technical documentation through the system lifecycle.
Develop, analyze, and maintain models to support system design and integration.
Review engineering analyses, reports, specifications, TEMPs, and change proposals.
Coordinate efforts with stakeholders to ensure successful system integration.
Identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the SE process.
Serve as technical representative at design reviews, meetings, and test events; prepare reports.
