Job summary

Mathnasium of Delaware is seeking a Part-Time Lead Math Instructor / Tutor to join the founding team at our brand-new center. You will work directly with students and help support and guide our instructor team during learning sessions.

You should be positive, dependable, confident in math, and eager to lead. Training in the Mathnasium Method is provided, with curriculum and materials supplied, and opportunities to take on additional responsibility as the center grows.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong math skills through Algebra II.
• Passion for helping students succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach math using Mathnasium Method and materials.
• Deliver instruction in a small-group setting.
• Lead and coach instructors during learning sessions.
• Support newer instructors with curriculum and procedures.
• Coordinate instructors and maintain an effective learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and engagement.
• Communicate student progress to center leadership.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming learning environment.
• Become proficient with Mathnasium’s digital materials and processes.
