Job summary

A leading educational franchise is seeking a Lead Math Instructor/Tutor to transform the lives of students in grades 2-12. The role offers flexible, part-time hours after school and on weekends in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents. Ideal candidates will have a passion for math, exceptional math skills up to Algebra I, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Compensation is $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with students and teaching math.
• Ability to balance leadership with instructional responsibilities.
• Proficient in math up to at least Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members in individualized instruction.
• Assess students’ learning progress during sessions.
• Communicate progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach/tutor using the Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials.
• Maintain a professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
