A leading manufacturing company located in Virginia is seeking a Manufacturing Materials Manager to oversee materials management functions in a fast-paced modular manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will lead procurement planning, inventory control, and logistics to ensure that materials are available for production schedules. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in materials management with a strong focus on Lean principles and team leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in materials management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations roles.
• 3 years of leadership experience in complex assembly or modular manufacturing.
• Proven experience implementing Lean materials systems and JIT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage materials planning, inventory management, and logistics.
• Design and optimize material flow strategies for modular manufacturing.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of materials planners and analysts.
