Job summary

HellermannTyton is seeking a Lead Material System Technician in Milwaukee to oversee the department, train technicians, and ensure proper mixing, grinding, and movement of raw materials for injection-molded products. The role includes setting up and maintaining the material handling system (Novatec), and ensuring compliance with quality and EMS policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required.
1+ year of manufacturing material handling experience (preferably in injection molding environment).

Responsibilities

Train all Material System Techs in their job responsibilities.
Read, follow, and verify work orders to ensure product is manufactured to specification.
Identify raw materials and label correctly.
Properly program, set up and operate entire material handling system (Novatec) including blenders, dryers and grinder evacuation units.
Troubleshoot and correct common material and material system problems.
Complete moisture tests daily on MAX 4000XL Moisture Analyzer and document results.
Inventory raw materials, colorants, additives, and hotstamp foils.
