Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM) to coordinate daily material handling operations. You will move, store, and handle materials safely, operate material handling equipment, and support EHS practices in a clean, compliant environment.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering, requiring strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 10+ preferred; Lean Six Sigma exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of material handling experience or equivalent with progressive responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead shift changeovers.
• Experience with ERP systems required.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit completed material transactions in the ERP System.
• Coach teams on safety, quality, and productivity in material handling.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and test labs.
• Lead daily material handling operations with limited supervision.
• Cross-train on Shipper/Receiver responsibilities.
