Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and automated systems.
• Strong inventory management and cycle counting experience.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives.
• Proven ability to mentor a Material Handler team.
• ERP/WMS experience including receiving transactions.

Responsibilities

• Expertly and safely handle a wide variety of materials with advanced equipment.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee picking, packing, labeling, and on-time shipments.
• Lead warehouse layout optimization for space efficiency.
• Inspect materials for damage and manage disposition of non-conforming items.
• Operate and troubleshoot material-handling equipment.
• Maintain paperwork: bills of lading, inventory reports, receipts.
• Support receiving by documenting and routing incoming materials; investigate discrepancies.
• Use ERP to manage emails, attach paperwork, and perform system transactions.
• Enforce safety protocols and contribute to safety programs.
• Lead Material Handler I, ensuring workflow and development.
• Identify and implement materials-process improvements.
