Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to support receiving, storage, and distribution of materials at our Kansas City facility. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, follow priority guidance from management, and help keep the team productive and safe on the floor.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills to work with peers and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required.
• Material handling experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and numeracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with manager to determine priorities and observes work-in-progress.
• Operates pallets jacks, forklifts and related equipment safely.
• Receives, moves, and stores materials following procedures.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports teamwork.
• Monitors inventory and reports discrepancies to supervision.
• Participates in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
