Responsibilities

• Communicates with manager to determine priorities, observes work-in-progress, and advises manager of issues.
• Serves as a resource to team members – answers questions and resolves operating problems.
• Demonstrates model work habits and fosters teamwork within the department.
• Enhances team morale – discusses issues and follows up with the manager and team.
• Conducts on-the-job training and provides constructive feedback to employees.
• Picks up incoming materials from the Receiving dock.
• Unloads and puts away stock in Bulk storage area.
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
• Transfers finished products to designated areas.
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas.
• Continually seeks opportunities to improve department operations.
• Encourages team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operates a manual pallet jack, powered pallet jack, forklift, order picker; performs safety checks and reports problems.
