Job summary

You will work under the Area Manager to assign tasks and monitor material flow. Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/unloading, prioritizing priorities, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Related experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with manager to determine priorities and observe work-in-progress.
• Serve as a resource to team members and resolve operating problems.
• Demonstrate professional work habits and foster teamwork.
• Provide on-the-job training and feedback to employees.
• Move materials from Receiving dock and unload stock.
• Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
• Transfer finished products to designated areas.
• Stack pallets in designated areas.
• Drive continuous improvement in department operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate manual & powered pallet jacks and forklifts; perform safety checks.
