Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor focused on safe, efficient operations. You will guide a team, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials, including hazardous items.

Qualifications include 4 years in warehouse ops with leadership experience, forklift certification, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle ERP and WMS tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of warehouse operations experience, with 1+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Hazardous materials handling certifications preferred (DOT/IATA/IMDG).
• Forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial equipment.
• Strong computer proficiency including WMS, ERP (SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Experience in cGMP/GxP regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in various temperature environments.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
• Ability to guide and support team members on procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

DESCRIPTION

Manage warehouse operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while contributing to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Support operational excellence by coordinating daily activities, maintaining accurate inventory management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Guide and develop team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives. Manage warehouse processes including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials ranging from common supplies to sensitive scientific products, hazardous materials, and temperature-controlled items.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 years of warehouse operations experience, with 1+ years in a leadership capacity

Preferred

• Additional certifications in hazardous materials handling (DOT/IATA/IMDG) preferred
• Forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial equipment
• Strong computer proficiency including warehouse management systems, ERP software (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Experience working in cGMP/GxP regulated environments preferred
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse safety regulations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in various temperature environments

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record when required
