JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking a Materials Lead to join our Supply Chain team. Our Materials Lead will be responsible for the control and movement of materials, storage, distribution, and inventory of raw materials.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Oversee inventory management, receiving, and distribution operations and processes.


• Adhere to operational, and personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements


• Ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all materials processes are running efficiently.


• Perform cycle count and physical inventory cadences to ensure inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.


• Plan and organize material handling and warehousing functions to best utilize resources, optimize material flows, and mitigate stock out risk requirements; advising management on needed actions


• Develop and present monthly metrics


• Participate in network inventory management, including product lifecycle, turns, aging stock, redesign impacts, and obsolescence


• Investigate and pursue benchmark opportunities, both within cannabis and CPG environments

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.


• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related manufacturing environment.


• Must have experience with inventory control and reporting


• Knowledge of developing and implementing SOPs


• Knowledge of analyzing and managing processes


• Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred


• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.


• Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.


• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
