The Opportunity

• Direct and verify inbound shipments of raw materials to specific locations.
• Monitor inventory and confirm General Supply Orders are complete and accurate.
• Oversee the creation and affixing of pallet tags to identify material.
• Acknowledge location of materials in the system.
• Optimize stock locations on an ongoing basis and organize overstock to designated locations.
• Monitor and maintain the retrieval of stock as necessary.
• Confirm that the Amazon B2B is scanned and shipped in the Ups System.
• Oversee the outbound shipments.
• Conduct cycle counts and full inventory counts as necessary, working with respective Inventory analysts to reconcile.
• Organize and verify staging areas are stocked and materials are properly marked and flagged.
• Confirm all inspection and shift reports for accuracy and completion.
• Communicate instructions to each shift and assign daily duties to team members.
• Lead team meetings as needed and maintain daily shipping schedules.
• Enter daily production reports and back up Shipping Clerk when needed.
• Partner with other departments Leads and Supervisors for what is needed or to track status of orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock

• Certified to operate heavy material handling machinery (electric pallet jack, forklift, reach truck).
• Ability to read and write instructions, correspondence, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Audit current procedures and policies.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Perform Daily Safety and Shift walkthroughs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to use computers for research, data entry, writing and sending emails.
• Maintain good attendance.
• Must be willing to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Great communication skills.
