Job summary

Mach Industries Inc. in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Lead Material Flow Engineer to design and scale end-to-end material flow across multiple product lines and sites.

You will develop safe, traceable processes moving parts from suppliers to production, coordinating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities. You will lead flow strategy, create value-stream maps, and build simulation models to test routing, capacity, and scheduling before capital expenditure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing-related field.
• 7+ years in material-flow, manufacturing, logistics or supply-chain engineering.
• Experience implementing flow solutions from design to handoff.
• Experience supporting production ramps or capacity expansions across sites.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent layout tools.
• Hands-on with discrete-event simulation tools (FlexSim, AnyLogic, Simio, Siemens).
• Familiar with ERP/MRP/MES/WMS systems and traceability requirements.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead material-flow strategy across multiple lines and sites through launch and ramp.
• Map value streams and test flow with discrete-event simulations before capital commits.
• Develop plans, budgets, risk assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with facilities, line builders, suppliers to fit the site plan.
• Create PFEP and end-to-end part presentation and replenishment plans.
• Define line-side delivery, stock levels, and reorder triggers.
• Design inbound, warehousing, sequencing, and packaging processes.
• Ensure traceability, lot/serial control, and FEFO standards.
