Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Master Scheduler in California to lead the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and drive planning for optimal resource utilization. You will coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing to align demand with capacity and inventory targets.

The role includes SOP participation, KPI tracking, and continuous process improvements, leveraging SAP and Excel for data-driven decisions. A strong background in manufacturing planning is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain planning, or manufacturing operations.
• 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years' experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• 3 years' experience supporting SOP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand forecasts, sales orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Create short- and long-term production plans to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust production plans to address changing business requirements.
• Analyze production constraints and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Evaluate demand fluctuations and translate requirements into executable production schedules.
• Collaborate with Materials Managers to develop statistical approaches to inventory planning.
• Interpret PFEP data to recommend inventory targets for raw materials.
• Conduct capacity analysis to identify resource constraints and bottlenecks.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) meetings and represent site requirements.
• Track and report KPIs, including Schedule attainment, Schedule Adherence, Factory On-time delivery, Past dues.
• Drive improvements in planning processes, scheduling accuracy, and inventory optimization.
