Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC in Michigan is seeking a Masonry Team Leader to guide on-site masonry and hardscape installations, mentor crew members, and ensure safety and quality on projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers, read plans, and oversee layout, measurements, and material needs to deliver durable, compliant finishes.

The role demands masonry/hardscape experience, leadership ability, and a strong work ethic for long days outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in masonry, hardscape, or construction installation.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, layouts, and job specifications.
• Proficient with hand tools, masonry saws, tile cutters, and mixers.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support Masonry Team Members by providing on-the-job mentorship, training, and guidance.
• Promote a safe, productive work environment and ensure all safety protocols, best practices, and company procedures are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to confirm project scope, priorities, and installation details prior to and during job execution.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and material needs to Project Managers in a timely manner.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and client expectations.
• Lead and perform installation of masonry and small hardscape features such as walkways, patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and firepits.
