Job summary

Warmstead, a locally owned masonry specialist based in Waynesville, NC, is seeking skilled lead masons to build long-term careers in a team that values craftsmanship and growth. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and real advancement opportunities.

As a lead mason, you will install cultured stone, natural rock, brick and block, perform stucco finishing, tuckpointing, repointing, framing and occasional tile work, and supervise safe, quality workmanship on-site while guiding less

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on masonry experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and proud of your craftsmanship.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all seasons.
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform construction tasks.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install cultured stone, natural rock, brick, and block.
• Perform stucco finishing.
• Tuckpointing, and repointing.
• Conduct framing and tile installation when needed.
• Handle chimney repairs, rebuilds, and restoration.
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company on-site.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Safely use ladders, scaffolding, and roof access systems.
