Catania Masonry is seeking a Foreman to oversee daily masonry operations, lead crews, and maintain high craftsmanship while ensuring safety on active job sites. You will collaborate with the owner and project manager to execute plans, resolve on-site issues, and uphold the company’s reputation for reliability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on masonry experience and strong leadership and communication skills, with willingness to supervise multiple crews outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of masonry or construction experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise masonry crews on job sites
• Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and craftsmanship
• Coordinate daily tasks, workflow, and crew assignments
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and the project manager regarding progress and needs
• Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce safety protocols
• Monitor material usage and request additional supplies when needed
• Operate masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Identify issues or delays and resolve them quickly
• Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity
• Keep jobsite clean, organized, and professional
