Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking an experienced Head Laminator / Shop Foreman for our Fort Myers facility. Lead a team of composite technicians while performing hands-on lamination and repairs on marine vessels and components.

You will plan daily shop activities, ensure safety compliance, and maintain quality workmanship across all laminates and repairs in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–5+ years lamination/fiberglass fabrication experience, marine/aerospace preferred.
• Experience leading a production team or supervision role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train laminators and composite technicians.
• Plan and schedule daily shop activities to maximize workflow.
• Maintain tools, molds, equipment, and safe work environment.
• Perform wet layup and VARI on hulls and components.
• Inspect and repair fiberglass and structural laminates per specs.
