Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the authorized project representative. You will lead the project team, manage safety, quality, environmental, ethics, finances, and schedule compliance across designated projects.

Based in Seattle with projects across the Northwest, you will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to contract requirements and client expectations while fostering a positive, ethical work environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a technical area of study, typically Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or Construction Management
• Minimum of 10-15 years of construction experience within marine construction or heavy civil engineering
• Project management and supervisory experience required
• Experience with scheduling, estimating, and project management software preferred
• Marine, structures, heavy lifts, or concrete construction experience preferred
• First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred
• 30 hour OSHA Certification, preferred
• Fall Protection Competent Person, preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team, motivates and mentors members to create an efficient team.
• Executes the project ensuring work meets quality standards and contract/permit requirements.
• Reviews project plans to determine timeframes, funding, procedures, staffing and resources.
• Ensures timely completion using a CPM baseline schedule and monthly updates.
• Provides adequate resources: management staff, crews, equipment, and supplies.
• Directs activities to keep project on schedule and within budget.
• Negotiates contracts with client and vendors in good faith and ethical manner.
• Tracks financial progress and prepares labor, cost and forecast reports.
• Participates in project procurement as part of the estimating team.
• Promotes safe work practices and an Incident and Injury Free environment.
