Job summary

Civica is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Lead to supervise the vial line and drive area initiatives. The role acts as a liaison between operations and support functions, managing events, deviations, and actions to keep production on schedule.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years in pharmaceutical operations—comfortable leading teams, training staff, and coordinating with QA and logistics in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Operations or Manufacturing Support in Pharmaceuticals.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support site leadership to build a capable site organization with clear procedures, quality processes, and controls for manufacturing areas.
• Monitor and reinforce a strong safety culture on the floor.
• Actively manage manufacturing floor operations and drive timelines.
• Escalate delays or issues per the established process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Continuous Improvement, RCA, FMEA, OSSCE initiatives.
• Lead training and troubleshooting for operations.
• Assist in OJT tracking to ensure training and qualification are up to date.
• Coordinate with Logistics on order releases and with QA for deviations and timelines.
• Understand and influence the manufacturing control strategy for the area.
• Serve as a Deviation Investigator when needed.
• Develop and monitor area metrics and support batch/product approvals.
• Lead specific activities of process teams.
• Perform other management-designated duties.
