Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Technician in Minneapolis, MN to guide a team of technicians, apply technical expertise, and support robust engineering processes on-site. The role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and centers on safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the cell.

The position emphasizes lean methods, standard work, and rapid problem solving to minimize variation and escapes, with a strong focus on TPM and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and assist a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee daily manufacturing performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshooting techniques to enhance production efficiency.
• Assure all equipment and tooling are working as expected to assure performance.
• Help establish TPM and process monitoring to validate process compliance.
• Audit SOS adherence within the cell to assure operator and processing equipment compliance.
• Assist in rapid problem solving to find the source of process/product variation and escapes from the cell.
• Strong utilization and development of standard work to assure consistent product and process flow throughout the cell.
