Job summary

Lion-1's Dayton Plant is seeking a hands-on supervisor to oversee daily operations, drive production targets, and ensure quality compliance. You will lead cross-functional teams, train staff, and maintain documentation while fostering a culture aligned with Lion-1 core beliefs.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with prior manufacturing supervisory experience. This is a full-time on-site position based in Dayton, OH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (degree may substitute for 1 year).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to meet production targets and departmental KPIs.
• Establish priorities, monitor progress, and adjust to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality concerns effectively and promptly.
• Enforce adherence to policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to personnel matters.
• Coordinate training and cross-training programs to build a flexible workforce.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
