Description

Auria is a leading global supplier of highly engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic, and other fiber-based solutions for gas and electric vehicles. With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical, and 5 JV locations across 10 countries, employing approximately 3,900 people worldwide. We are currently seeking a Launch Manager to join our team at our Auria Fremont Plant in Fremont, Ohio.

Responsibilities Overview
  1. Coordinate development of new and replacement programs, tooling, and processes ahead of launch requirements. Facilitate internal change processes, capital projects, and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance plant performance.
  2. Maintain APQP documentation as required and facilitate regular APQP plant meetings.
  3. Interface with customers and AURIA Corporate Engineering and Program Management groups to provide resources and support for launch activities.
  4. Support design engineering changes on new and existing programs.
  5. Lead internal and external change management efforts.
  6. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
  7. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow by designing equipment and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.
  8. Consult with vendors to determine product specifications, purchase equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to standards.
  9. Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs to inform management decisions.
  10. Collaborate with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities and production schedules.
  11. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  12. Review machinery and equipment specifications to ensure safety precautions are included.
  13. Inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  14. Support Manufacturing/Process Engineering duties as needed.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
