Carrier Climate Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Controls & Automation Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing control systems across our Collierville facility. The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers and improving reliability through engineering excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
5+ years with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
5+ years manufacturing experience.
5+ years troubleshooting electrical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support manufacturing control systems and automation solutions.
Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Lead root-cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Support installation, startup, modification, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Develop and implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma.
Create and maintain electrical schematics and control system documentation.
Partner with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and uptime.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and reliability.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable electrical codes.
