Qualifications

About your new role:

You will lead a team of Command|POD engineers to deliver managed network, security, and unified communications services. Your technical expertise will guide enterprise IT infrastructure design, deployment, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
  • Design and implement SD-WAN, SASE, UCaaS, and network connectivity solutions using technologies from Fortinet, Cato Networks, Cisco, and others.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for network, security, and voice issues, ensuring industry-leading SLAs.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for enterprise clients, conducting service reviews and recommending optimizations.
  • Develop and improve managed services processes, utilizing AI tools and automation.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance our SaaS platform and develop new services.
  • Train engineers on complex issues and create procedural and training materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve support issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in network engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership within managed services or IT outsourcing.
  • Proven leadership in technical teams delivering enterprise managed services.
  • Expertise in SD-WAN, SASE, firewalls (Fortinet NGFW, Meraki, Versa), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and UCaaS.
  • Experience with network monitoring, ITSM, and SIEM tools.
  • Knowledge of VoIP, QoS, and contact center technologies.
  • Certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE 7, Cato Networks Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Note: Pay ranges vary by location, with a base salary between $70,000 and $100,000 USD annually for this remote role within the United States.
