Job summary

Washington Radiology is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist in Washington, DC. The role involves performing imaging, leading center operations, and ensuring MQSA compliance with timely physician communication.

Sign-On Bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance for qualified technologists are available. Full-time, hours are 8:30 am–5 pm, with compensation range $48.00–$58.00 hourly, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technologic training completed.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility documented.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• RIS/PACS experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Non-restricted licensure in the work location.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and support office operations.
• Lead daily clinical operations at assigned centers.
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage.
• Provide patient education and communicate procedures clearly.
• Coordinate equipment service and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Serve as point of contact for physician offices; respond within 24 hours.
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in interviews, onboarding, coaching, and annual evaluations.
