Ardent Health is seeking a Breast Care Center Lead Mammography Technologist in Harker Heights, TX, for day shift in a full-time capacity. The role focuses on leading the mammography department, delivering high-quality imaging, and ensuring patient-focused care.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 2+ years of mammography experience, Texas GMRT, ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) registrations, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
• 2+ years of experience as a mammography technologist.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a General Medical Radiologic Technologist (GMRT).
• Registered radiologic technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical and administrative operations of the mammography department.
• Explain Mammography procedures to patients in a thorough and professional manner.
• Perform Mammography procedures with appropriate imaging parameters.
• Manage clinical team members and ensure policy compliance.
• Conduct quality control on equipment and report hazards or malfunctions.
