Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in the Houston area is seeking a Lead Mammography Tech to oversee imaging operations in the Northeast OPID. The role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring high quality screenings, diagnostics, and patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of imaging experience in acute care, radiologic licenses, and a track record of mentoring staff, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating daily department workflows.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of prior experience as an imaging tech in an acute hospital or ambulatory setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in department operations.
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients and provide safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct imaging department activities and workflows.
• Lead and mentor staff, ensure quality standards and patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient throughput.
