Shift 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Some weekend work may be required.

Description

The Town of Silverthorne is looking to hire a Lead Maintenance Worker. This position is responsible for landscape maintenance on all Town properties, general custodial duties, snowplowing and other winter maintenance activities. Duties include:

  • Perform landscape, parks, general grounds maintenance, and custodial duties on all Town of Silverthorne (TOS) property.
  • Assist with training of seasonal workers in areas of equipment, safety and products.
  • Assist with directing the daily duties of seasonal workers.
  • Assist with maintenance record keeping and reports.

Position Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Has training or 2 years of experience in at least one of the following areas; irrigation systems, horticulture, herbicide/pesticide application or turf maintenance
  • 1 year of snow removal experience
  • 1 year of experience in training other workers or leading crews
