Job summary

Town of Silverthorne seeks a Licensed Programs Specialist to support the quality, compliance, and delivery of licensed programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. The role leads activities, organizes play and structures classes to engage participants, with administrative planning to ensure successful program delivery.

Hiring range is $26.32/hour to $29.84/hour; full pay range is $26.32/hour to $35.10/hour.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Education or closely related field.
  • Associate's degree or 60 semester credit hours from an accredited university and 3 months of experience in licensed program.
  • Two years full time work or 3195 hours experience with school-aged children in licensed program.
  • Three months (455 hours) of experience in the care and supervision of four or more children over the age of four.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Colorado Drivers License at time of hire or able to obtain within 30 days.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to be certified within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead activities and structure classes to engage participants in licensed programs.
  • Perform administrative planning and preparation tasks to ensure successful delivery of programs and services.

Job Summary

The Licensed Programs Specialist supports the quality, compliance, and successful delivery of licensed programs at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. This position leads activities, organizes play and structures classes to ensure all participants are engaged. This position also performs administrative planning and preparation tasks that ensure the successful delivery of programs and services.

Hiring Range is: $26.32/hour to $29.84/hour
Full Pay Range is: $26.32/hour to $35.10/hour

Position Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • One of the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation,Educationor closely related field.
