Job summary

Dow Chemical seeks a maintenance specialist to provide daily technical input for safe, reliable operation across facilities. You will participate in root cause investigations, guide troubleshooters, and help plan maintenance with a focus on improving reliability.

Required are 5+ years of experience, a TWIC card or eligibility, and U.S. work authorization. SAP familiarity and knowledge of valve maintenance are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• TWIC card or eligibility required.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provides experience on failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
• Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment meets its service conditions.
• Ensures repair procedures and equipment training are documented and available.
• Supports maintenance budgeting and planning to back maintenance strategy.
• Serves as a technical resource to planners on work packages and scope of turnaround work.
