Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift (7 pm – 7 am) to lead complex troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, a strong PLC background, and CMMS proficiency. You will mentor technicians, participate in RCA, and support capital projects while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong PLC knowledge (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Proficient with CMMS software.
Forklift and aerial lift certification.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
Mentor and support lower-tier technicians with on-the-job training.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance with accuracy and efficiency.
Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
Install, repair, and upgrade machinery as part of capital projects.
Develop and improve maintenance SOPs and equipment documentation.
Maintain OSHA and safety compliance during maintenance activities.
Support facility infrastructure including HVAC, compressed air systems, boilers, and water treatment.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and external vendors on repairs and upgrades.
Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
